Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 6 cups frozen shredded hash browns
- 2 cups Cache Valley® mild cheddar, shredded (8 ounces)
- Sour cream, for serving
- Sliced Green onions, for serving
Steps
- Preheat your waffle maker to medium heat.
- Crack the eggs in a mixing bowl. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, and whisk until well combined.
- Add the frozen hash browns and shredded cheddar cheese to the egg mixture. Stir until evenly coated.
- Lightly grease the waffle maker with baking spray, fill it about ¾ full with the hash brown mixture, and close the lid. Depending on your waffle maker, cook until golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 3 minutes. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
- Serve immediately, topped with sour cream and sliced green onions.
